This A Level equivalent course follows an applied learning structure, meaning it focuses on real-world applications of scientific concepts. It offers a context led approach to scientific study, and is excellent preparation for many careers in healthcare, such as radiography, nursing and paramedic science.
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English Language, Mathematics and Science. GCSE Biology is preferred if taken.

Assessments will comprise 50% externally set practical exams and 50% internally assessed work.
