During your A level, you can explore a wide range of approaches, techniques and specialisms. Here are some examples of careers which could stem from studying this course. Have a look at the following TouTube short films, following ‘A Day in the Life of ‘ …….

Type is everywhere! From Ancient Illuminated manuscripts to contemporary  web pages and magazine design,  visual communication through the written word has been at the heart of ancient and modern culture.

Make a mood board of inspiration exploring creative and decorative letter forms.

Here are some examples to get you thinking!

Explore the Illustration techniques of collage & assemblage.
Make your own personal collage using the phrase ‘Who am I.’ You can make this digitally or practically. Look at artists such as Raul Haussman, Kurt Schwitters, Benjamin Savignac & David Carson for inspiration, and have fun!
