Keep playing the sports you enjoy
Whether you’re playing for fun and fitness or aiming to compete at the highest level, we offer you a wide range of high-quality sporting opportunities through our sports teams. Importantly, you don’t have to be studying a sports-related course to take part in our sporting provision. Team trials are held before you start with us, so you’ll be ready to start training and playing as soon as you enrol.
To get involved in playing the sports you love, during enrolment simply complete a team sports form telling us what sport you want to be involved in. Additionally, if you compete in another sport there is an opportunity to take part in regional and potentially national competitions.
If you are part of a club outside of HSDC and would like the opportunity to represent the College in competitions then please contact our Be Active & Be Adventurous Coordinator.

We currently have three teams, four of which play in the country’s largest and most established College league. With a strong heritage in College football, we will look to continue to build on our success. Our Academy squads compete in the National League Under 19 Alliance, which is recognised as the strongest standard of youth football outside of the professional game, providing a great platform for a young player. All squads have regular training sessions with FA qualified coaches.
